The Photon has been a great addition to my online props site. I design,print and sell 8" and 12" figure props and stuff. Since the arrival of the photon, my business has increased 1000% because of the addition of HD resin prints for small this like weapons and custom head sculpts for the figures. I sold them before but not many due the quality of the FDM printers I was using. This being said I print a lot and in different colors mostly 3 all the time. The headache was the changing of the resins between colors and the mess. I was lucky to find the other day on Ebay, Original NEW resin vats from Anycubic selling for $32. I grabbed 2. They arrived today and I'm stocked for a long printfull weekend. I also print covers for the vats to prevent stray uv light or dust to get in the resin. So I strongly suggest t get 1 or more additional vats to make our printing life easier. www.actionfigurestuff.com

Hey guys... After few completely failed prints it's getting better - thanks to advices I found here.

But can someone tell me, why is this happening?
I build supports in Chitu slicer (not BOX), then I slice it in Photon slicer (settings in the picture). There should be a distance between the wheel and bottom layers, but after printing, all wheel ale connected with the base.

When previewing the slice file, only at 38th layer wheels are starting to appear. Up to that, only bases and supports are visible. Thank you for your help.

This is how I vent my anycubic Photon printer to get rid of the smell. I do my prints downstairs in our other living room. 99.9% of the smell from the resin is non-existent.

Those of you who use heated ultrasonic and mean green...what temp and time do you use for cleaning? Just got my ultrasonic today and excited to try mean green instead of IPA. Seems kind of loud, but should definitely clean some stuff.

Can I add more resin in the middle of a print without pausing? I have a large volume print that I have hollowed and added drain holes too but I am afraid it will run out of resin before the end.

Anyone any ideas what could cause this? It's like part of the print has shifted horizontally, edit: these were lined up at opposite ends of the build plate so it's like one half of the build plate shifted about 2mm, have checked the file and it doesn't appear to be a slicing issue so must have happened during the print.
