So I have had the Photon for exactly 3 days now and the test print really impressed me. I have been debating on getting his printer for awhile now mainly because it only has a 4.5x2.5 print bed. Anyways the detail it’s capable of is what won me over.

That’s leads me to my question I printed out my first model and it did mess up which I know why but I also noticed that it has the layer lines in it as well like a FDM printer. I have seen over people’s prints and they don’t have this defect. My question is it the type of resin or a printer setting? I’m still learning so any information will be much appreciated.

Can anyone help me out somehow resin keeps getting on to my screen, I changed the film but it still happens and I can't spot a leak in my vat, it's a mystery... My Epax doesn't have this problem?? I don't get it.

Printed these models before the new firmware and after. Took some pictures to show the difference. Didn't re-slice it at all. Just re-leveled after the update and then printed it out again. Anycubic skin using the suggested settings. Highly recommend the latest firmware.

Had my first print failure this evening - memory issue with the USB drive - right after the supports base had finished. Had just finished another print and did not turn my photon off in-between prints. Was using a sandisk 32g, switching to a no-name freebee 8gb that i've had for a few years now.

So I'm trying to print out some dice and on the point facing the build plate it came out looking compressed(?) Any idea what could cause that? Do I need to raise the die more? Add more supports?
