So, is this normal.... And more importantly is there something I can do about it?

The whole screen is lighting up (slightly) making there be a layer that appears on the FEP. after a print.

We could use some community help if anyone is willing to run some test prints or troubleshoot with us. We have this ~20mm cube (braille 6 sided die) that continuously has trouble printing. We've gone through multiple support variations and always end up with dice that aren't square and have drooping sides. The most recent support version is on it's point has the same issue - once the supports stop at the middle of the die, everything begins to warp. picture of the final print shows supported point on the bottom left

settings for these are the same as what works for the other dice that we print with no warping - anycubic green, 0.05 layer height, 12 sec exposure, 1.5 off time, 80 bottom exposure, 8 bottom layers. multiple bottles of green and gray (with gray settings) have been used over months with the same problems, so it's not a bad resin batch

Question.. Does it really matter what color we print in? Like the green that came with is nice and all but Ebay sells the Orange for like 15 bucks a 500 ml bottle and the green for 27. If you are going to prime it and such does it matter that much? Thanks!

after loong loong time i wanted to start using my Photon again - the reason i didn't use it for so loong was

1. no time

2. the smell

Hello I was wondering if anyone here is using there photon printer for jewellery and what resin is best for a clean burnout? I ordered the dental Castable resin but I heard it doesn't cast perfectly. anyone who could help me out with this ? :)

Mkay. so Photon was working great yesturday. Had a failed printed, cleaned the vat. Went to start a new file, Z axis went all the way down into the vat, came back 5 minutes later to an error message about a corrupted file/usb/something to the effect of the space was empty. The z axis build plate arm was all the way at the top of the rod in its usual resting place. Now the LCD wont power on and the Z axis control functions dont work. I just updated the firmware to the latest version to see if that was it.

Bit confused how a corrupted .photon file broke the thing. I used the group search function but all the reports of similar things were random hardware failures, and not seemingly connected to a bad slicer file.

Ideas?

Tried everything to print a thin hollow cylinder vertically and it keeps separating from the raft even with those supports , is this a bad way for printing?

Hi all. I’m currently painting a fresh print of The Destiny from Stargate Universe and I’m intrigued to see what effects people would add. I’m starting with a yellow primer, then a dark bronze base coat .. I was then thinking of adding some copper, black and the blue colour that comes from oxidised copper.. but before I do that, what would you do for a better effect ?
