Im thinking about an solution wich can protect the desiners and their creations.
Dave King
had a post a few weeks earlier about his model pricing.
I saw that there is a lot of question about selling a desing file. How to protect it, or how can You sell the 3D modell rather.
Here is an Idea to help this problem:
In this group I believe everybody able to build a basic trust, which can be a good begining about what I thinking.
What If we create an online platform (if its not already exist) where designers and printers work together protected.

This platform’s foundation can be this group. We can connect printing guys with designer guys from different part of the world to minimize or even terminate products travel, time, costs and taxes also.
Here is an example about my idea: @Dave King want to sell his stl, but consider he just sell the print to protect the design file. There is a customer from EU (Slovenia or Austria maybe). I’m from Hungary (neighbor country). If Dave have a trust in me, I can print it for the customer, shipped it for much cheaper inside EU. Also Dave will know that only a few guy has his model file and we have e.g. a virtual contract, which protects Dave’s design.
It protects a lot of designers, and help to earn more money worldwide. The printing guys can earn money also, and the customer can save money. I think it can be a win-win-win business.
The greatest advantage of this platform against others, is You decide who gets your file, and have a Copyright protection contract with those guys.
