Hello all,

I am a new member and owner of the photon. I just set it up and was going to make my first print and there are no files found on my usb or any other usb I have tried. I am using chitubox to slice the files. Is there anything else I need to know? Thanks

EDIT: 2nd attempt, this is what the build surface looked like)

So first print was an epic failed. Used the settings for anycubic green from the spreadsheet. It was a hero forge atlas. This was the only thing printed and the build plate’s surface was mostly covered in liquid resin.

Vinicius Silva ever thought about rpi and nanodlp for your photon? Now that I scratched it open to install from scratch I don’t think the build would be that hard. Only real headache would be the lcd adapter as far as I can tell and a Linux overlay to the touchscreen?

Hey all!

Wonder if anybody can help me diagnose this that I’ve had with a couple of prints please? Has anyone seen this before?

On certain flat surfaces I’m getting a slight “divot” for some miniature 1/300th scale sci-fi buildings I’m printing. About 60mm3.

I’ve not had it before, I’m thinking it’s z axis related? The underside of the floor is fine through?

Resin is elegoo grey at 0.04mm 12 secs. The file has been ran through and each layer corrected using the wonderful Photon File validator. Yeah

Has anyone ever gotten light support to work? I've never gotten anything but failure, even on something as small and round as a little 5mm skull. Is something out of whack, or should I just forget it and always use medium or heavy settings?

So I've learned my first lesson with the photon.. the prints are very brittle. Just finished printing the test cube and it was very well stuck to the build plate. Managed to snap the cube off of the base trying to force it off.

I guess at least it means my bed is level!

I was honored to test print this one, is one of the Artisan guild's July release. Came out great and very fun to paint. I used Citadel paints and wash and printed with Monocure rapid clear.
