so less than a week into printing on my new photon, I have doh! moment.

I had replaced my FEP sheet because the original had a gouge in it, but when putting my new FEP in, i neglected to read the instructions fully and didn't remove the protective film that was covering it...

boy, do I feel stupid!!! hoping that now that I have rectified this, my adhesion issues and failed prints will occur far less often...

Setup complete!
Couple minutes ago the anycubic curing box came in. I'm going to fill in 3.5L of IP alcohol and let it clean & cure. Cant wait to see the results.

Gents, I've been working with the siraya blu lately, and have had a few failed prints. It's always parts breaking away from the supports. Should I go about increasing the support depth on the heavy supports I'm using?

Ok so I updated to the 4217 firmware and added the new UI for networking and it works great.. but I see there is a wireless option, so does that mean the photon has WiFi? I can't get it to go beyond this screen and the local ssid option is clickable but doesn't move past this...

So glad I joined this group. I bought an Elegoo Mars and immediately regretted it -dirty and scratched. I returned back to Amazon. Following the recommendations from here, I went with the EPAX X1. Very happy I did. Perfect condition and started printing right out of the box with no problem.
