Hi guys.

I have tried several sets of settings, orientation, but always got another issue.

Just noticed something, I sliced a model in chitubox, saved it as a photon file and got a 445 megs file. I opened that file in the Photon file validator, fixed it, saved it and it's giving me a 112 megs file??? is this normal behavior? Thanks in advance.

Well, this day finally came...the first print I'm satisfied with!

Of course, previous ones were fine, I could sand them, painted them, etc., but this is the first one that requires no sanding on the surfaces, I pop it off the supports, and glue it on the tank. And it only took me about half a liters of resin to realize that I need to level the plate tighter than a nun's woohoo :)

Thanks for the support from this group, I received a lot of help and helpful ideas from other members.

With so many post about problems, I figured I'd share a successful print. My camera on my phone is terrible but there are lots of details that can't be seen. I printed this guy on it's back 90 degree angle, anycubic grey, 8 second layer exposure.

Hello there,

I recently got the photon and I'm struggling with some random nasty thick lines that are ruining my prints. See circles in image.

I tried with the following settings:

Layer thickness: 0.1-0.01mm.

Exposure Time: 15s

Off time: 6.5s

Rotation: X=-45D Y=45, X=-25D Y=25, X=0D Y=90

Resin: Anycubic Skin

Any ideas why this might be happening?

I was printing D&D minis last night when all of a sudden I had a problem. Everytime my print bed moved it made a grindy/growly noise. I stopped the print and raised the bed making the noise all the way. I got up this morning and raised the bed some more and no noise. Any ideas?

hey folks....absolutely pulling my hair out now. have tried over 35 prints now and NOTHING is printing. I have up and down my print setting for monocure grey, new fep tuned to 330hz, sanded build plate and releveled the whole machine and build plate. tried printing using many different usb sticks and firmwares. this is the lastest print trial and settings. brand new machine .
