I think I need some help. I've had great prints without fails for months and now I've got this happening. Files appear to be corrupted. I've updated chitubox, formatted my Usb, updated the firmware and still got the same result. Now before that happened I believe the only thing I changed was using 3 points support to 1 point .. I don't see how this could be the cause. Anyone got an idea?

Hey all, need some advice from the group mind. Anyone know why I’m getting warping and a big layer shift at the bottom of this print? I’m running it flat on the build plate to get a perfect mating surface, so I’m hoping to fix it as is. I’ll add supports if I need to, but it’s definitely a less attractive fix. Also, anyone else have issues with their build plate spinning? It stays balanced, but seems to spin easily from side to side a little.

I’m printing with:
Anycubic Grey
.02 layer height
12 sec layer
50 sec bottom layer, 3 layers

Any help is really appreciated!

Geez, I wonder if other creators had to go through the same growing pains in learning how to make a good print. Least my knowledge is growing almost by the hour, and a big part of that is from all the helpful support from you guys here, so THANK YOU ALL for the help!

New lessons learned. 1. After making the joining hole between two parts, reduce the size of the key by a lot. Not just a little. Better to have it a little loose and just glue the parts together then the key not fit at all. 2. Don’t design long thin parts into your sculpt. Seems like the resin will hold the thin shape, but I’m not looking forward to accidentally breaking it off when I trim the supports.

Off to deliver this one to my buddy tomorrow who paints miniatures. he wants it as is so he can get used to doing post processing.

Now, back to zbrush and chitubox to see if I can unf*ck some of these issues I’m seeing. Just might sell this stl after I put my logo and website under the base.

Incidentally, if I were to offer this stl for sale, what’s a fair price for it?
