UPDATE: EPAX 4.2.18 release fixes this issue by removing the masking feature that was left enable since photon 4.0.11+ (according to CBD)

Houston we have a Problem! Xinfu Xie , Amy Liao

Test with latest Photon AA beta firmware and with EPAX AA firmware, and same file with classic 4.0.11.

Frame Shearing happens on new FW and Epax AA firmware, but not on the old firmware. haven't tested other firmware versions.

Hey guys. Having a lot of failed prints lately. Not sure what im doing wrong. I'm still getting used to the photon s apparently. I put 6 models in the slicer. all of them leaning back. so the supports would hit there. floating off build plate so that the supports do the heavy lifting. using Anycubic Grey resin.

Settings:
.02 layer height.
8 bottom layers
exposure time 14
bottom exposure 90
light offs 1s.

With this print. the 3 models on the back side of the build plate are still there. the front 3 are gone. not sure if this is a leveling issue or what. i thought the leveling was really only side to side and the back to front was basically handled when mounting the plate.

should i stop this print with 4 hours still to go and just scrap the ones on the back? if there was issue enough for 3 to not work - i assume the back ones are even going to come out correctly.

I having a lot harder time with getting consistent good results with the photon over any FDM printer ive had.

Hi everyone - We purchased a Photon a couple of weeks ago and the print results were great - very small holes (0.7mm) clearly defined with crisp edges when printed with included green resin and default settings. A week later the Photon S was available, so we got one of those to increase volume and expected improvements with the dual rail slide and new illumination. Again using the included green resin and default settings the results are much worse. Details look dull and poorly defined. Small holes are often completely missing. Leveling, Z=0 and adhesion is good. Any ideas on what might fix this? Thanks in advance!!

By popular request I am posting the stls for this model of an upper anterior implant split crown with abutment. When fitted for the patient it was a bit smaller though !
