Has anyone tried to quieten the y axis stepper? thinking about a dampener, or maybe different driver.

My print going great for the pass few month. It print as it should.

But for the pass 2 days i keep trying to print. It stick on the base then after few layer it peel off and failed. I try a few time for first layer calibration. Try exposure up 160sec for the base still failed.

It is sign the UV start to weaken and need replace?

I’ve had my Photon for a little over 24 hours and I’ve managed to get some really incredible prints... HOWEVER... I’ve also learned what not to do when you get a print stuck to the FEP. I’ve learned the FEP really stands for FREAKING EXPENSIVE PLASTIC because I’ve already had to replace it and went to order more so I have them and ouch! The most frustrating thing isn’t the learning curve (I’ve been doing FDM for years and have 7 printers) but the fact that when I turned the printer off while replacing the FEP when I turned it back on the cooling fan was screaming at me with that all too familiar sound that everyone knows when you have a fan going bad. My question is will they send me a replacement or will I have to exchange the entire printer?

Got home, set the printer up in ten mins. Leveled the bed ( incorrectly I think because this YouTube video I watched had the paper tight tight) hit print and got this. Did I get lucky lol. My question is that I was watching it go up and down and when it was being taken out, it looked like the part was moving as if it was sucked into the resin. This normal?

Hello, I guess my question must have been asked, but I did not find it. The Z0 RESET button never freezes the requested Z-axis position. Regardless of the position of this Z0, the head always comes back 1 or 2 mm above the physical Z0 with a sheet of paper.
I just bought this printer after buying two Wanhao D7s in 1 year that quickly broke down, and I'm satisfied.
