Hi guys,

How do you print flat base pieces? If I do it directly without support or raft I see that some lower part of the model is lost (about 1mm), the part touching plate. If I add a raft of 1 or 2mm this doesnt happen but you get the raft printed below piece and later you need to remove/sand it.

Does slicing software apply different settings when printing piece with raft? It seems the first layers dont attach well if you print directly a flat piece.

Hey, i'm still discovering this printer, got good results, but i sometime got thoses strange support, any idea ? or that normal ? i make the support on chitubox, heavy and automatic, and then i add some medium one. then i slice on photon basic (phontonS...)

i guess the bed is well leveled because all the base support are ok.

resine is Anycubic skin, 0.05 10 1 65 8

Hi, After lots of back and forth with Anycubic regarding my Z wobble, 2 new Z screws , loads of test prints and countless emails, photon etc and was sick of being passed from one section to another. I decided to do the Twin linear rails UpGrade. I used "Physics Anonymous" Method as see on Youtube - " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o--30L7hHRc " but designed my own file based on his idea. Important is to ensure the rails are flush with the front of the original Photon Z Rail, check Top and bottom with a straight edge. I might get an Alloy piece milled up, but for now I just Printed it on the Shuffle out of ABS Like resin. I am testing it now and will post results. If all goes well i'll post the File and info for the Rails etc. Hopefully it will fix my Z Wobble, I have not done much on the Photon since getting The Phrozen Shuffle, but now need to have two printers going, so it was good time to do the fix.
