Hi all thanks for adding me to the group! First time SLA printer user and slicer user...I have experience with UP and Afinia printers and they have their own proprietary slicer that is all pretty much auto and I have been happy with it...that said I recently purchased a Photon and while importing my stl files into their slicer they show up in the software very very tiny way off scale!!! Am I doing something wrong here? All files are in inch dimensions. Again thanks for the add and all the great info here!!

I wanted to check with you guys my fellow photon users about a big issue I keep having and wanted to know if you guys had it too and if you found a solution.

Basicly I ordered past August my photon yellow windows and in October.

After a few prints and weeks when I was launching a new print started when the printer started at the 1% the printer would reboot randomly and by doing so cancelling the progress.

Since then I talked to anycubic support check the power of the psu cable and change my main board for a brand new one. Since then I was able to print again but from time to time the printer would still reboot depending the print and even weirder sometimes I restart the print like 5 times with a reboot everytime but on the 6th time it would completly print for 6 hours which makes no sense to me!?

Now I will see if I can update the firmware again which didn't change anything before I switched the main board let me know if you guys had something like that.

To be sure I tried other power outlets to be sure I wasnt getting low power fluctuation that cause the printer to reboot but no same result on every outlet.

I love my photon and the quality coming out but this is ready a major show stopper :(

Hello,
Has anyone had trouble where any sharp edges on the underneath of a print are not curing as crisp as they should be, but look wobbly where the supports meet? I've tried longer exposure time, more supports but doesn't seem to help too much.
I do seem to find at the moment that the the bottom edges where supports meet never print well, and almost look like the resin is pooling? I've tried again a longer exposure, moving supports, but still seem to find the bottom of my prints are not crisp.
Anyone had a similar problem/have any ideas? ?

Okay - moving on from monocure stuff. Too viscous, less detail than the anycubic stuff, bottles are a pain to funnel back into. Looking for some recommendation - needs to be easily accessible from the european union. Considering Siraya next. Looking for something similar too the anycubic stuff in terms of viscosity and feel. Best regards

I'm having real problems getting anything to stick to the build plate, 4 failed prints in a row. I have re leveled and I'm certain it's not a levelling issue, the shickwrecked benchy is proof the LCD is working fine, shake the resin, 8 bottom layers @ 50 seconds then 8 seconds at 0.05mm from then on, plenty of supports etc. The only thing I can think of I haven't tried is temperature, should the resin be heated at all, if so how do you warm it and what temperature?

Now that the motor is quieter with the new firmware, I can hear a squeak every time it lowers back to the vat. I don't know if it's new, or I just didn't hear it till now.
