Here’s how the first custom action figure (Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe) came out with the aid of the Photon for printing the head. Body is a kitbashed Marvel Legend but the head is from scratch created in ZBrush. Can’t believe how nicely the print came out. So many possibilities!

So I'm only a few days in with this little fella, but im getting great results. Printed this stress test, took a little under an hour. Auto supports, washed in ipa, cured for 4 minutes. Green anycubic resin.

Hi everyone, me again. got my printer set up and the test print went well. but now i'm already looking at another bottle. Is there usually one colour or brand that is better for miniatures?

I looked at the anycubic resin which has limited colours available at the moment and mono cure rapid which is the more expensive option for me.

This may have been covered here before, but I found out yesterday that using a heater inside the Photon to adjust the temperature inside the printer can cause problems. The print that has serious banding is Siraya Blu that I had the heater turned on to 30c. The print without the banding was printed with FunToDo Industrial black without the heater. It seems I need to find a better way to control the temperature. The Inkbird temperature controller seems to allow fairly wide swings in temperature cause the banding.

ahhh, still not got a working photon after nearly 6 moths of owning it. i have currently a (for the last month or more) a problem with a good print at the start then it goes haywire and setting resin all over the place. no joy from anycubic, just oh try this and this. tonight I caught this on the screen.

Anyone out there got some good settings for the anycubic white resin? I know i should do the exposure test but i am getting some crazy results, like 20s for ac clear. Also are the supports better with netfabb meshmixer or the peopoly one, i read they all should be pretty accurate. I would print something very small where the anycubic slicer doesnt place anything. Thank you
