How many people cure their parts in water. Can this only be done outside or is it ok to put the container in my Uv chamber?

My printer had a major failure on startup. Ventilator stopped, the display still shines but nothing works, no Z move, no UV test, nothing. What happened??

Is it necessary to use support when printing very small models? Model has a flat bottom about the same diameter as the rest of the model. Maybe a little bit smaller.

Working with Elegoo transparent- color is a bit more yellow than what I’ve seen on here (someone posted a Xenomorph earlier they printed with clear that looked phenomenal!).

But found a neat trick to clearing off the surface of any print lines and clear the final product! Sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper works wonders!
Left is my print after a quick hit with 1000 and 2000 grit and right is what I got out of the Photon.

Any tips on getting a clearer print? I’ve a suspicion I’ll have to invest some time in cleaning the vat out, possibly replace the film. Any other ideas?
