Loving my Photon so far. Now I'm wondering what options are there for bigger printers in the DLP world? I found the soon-to-be-released Creality LCD-003 which will do 192x120x230mm . Heard mention (but not much else I found) about a Photon X. What else is available or on the horizon and what are the anticipated price points?

Fellow Photoners,

Did anyone try to mix resin with aluminium powder (5-7 um)?
I know that aluminium could reflect the UV light, yet I am thinking about it to end up with some kind of composite material to make parts with better mechanical properties.

Any ideas or experience? Mix ratio? Curing time?

Hi guys. I did the test on the Anycubic Aqua Blue to find the best time before the first print with this resin, but I cant figure it out. Before I used same brand transp. green it was perfect. On the pics it looks like 9-10 is the best so I went with 10 but the prints failed. Im guessing it needs more then 10, but how can I change the time on the test? Any help and suggestion would be nice! Thanks inadvance.

One of the earlier flat prints came out sort of ok, want to try again or should I give up on flat printing? Below are the settings for the print using Chitubox and the side view of the finished print. The resin is Siraya Blu, hollowed out with vent holes visible on the image. The print is a half of the mold to pour liquid silicone into it, the shapes and patterns on top came out pretty nice and accurate, so I really like the idea of printing flat, but it was incredibly hard to remove and I put a small scratch into the platform. If you have any idea how I can manage to print this flat and what I have to change - much appreciated! I had another post of the other half of the mold printing at an angle with supports and getting detached from the platform, the flat one actually was a better version.

Just leaving this here for you guys interested in bigger printers.. MiiCraft advance.. 4K printer. I nicked the image from another group, I think it belongs to a resin manufacturer, pretty sure he wont mind me posting it up. 250mm build plate.. Just when I thought I didnt need another dlp in my garage..
