Would any happen to have a spare photon they have been using for parts. The ribbon cable for my touch screen messed up and I have a good amount of orders to complete and cant wait weeks for a replacement.

Появился такой вопрос - кто окрашивал уф полимеры (напечатанные модели)? Как они предрасположены к акрилам? Собираюсь сходить за краской, под рукой нет никаких. Что взять - нитро, масло, акрил?

Hey Folks. I've printing PCB mounts for wierd enclosures on my Photon. Thinking of ways to bond the boards in place. I tried using a drop of resin then hitting it with my UV torch, but it seems like there's some sort of almost oily layer that's forming at the interface between the resin and the PCB and stopping it from bonding properly. I get the same residue if I just zap a drop of resin on a piece of paper/plastic.

Anyone know if this is a normal part of the process, or am I doing something strange?

Occasionally on startup my Photon's fan makes a loud, grindy noise. If I restart the machine the noise stops and the normal fan sound returns.

The first time this happened the noise eventually tapered off, but when I tried printing, after lowering to home the printer sounded like it was attempting to ram the build plate into the lcd screen. I had to quickly shut it off. It seemed to work fine after restarting.

Any idea what the problem is? It happens every ~6 or so start ups. I have about a week to replace it with Amazon if it's serious.
