Hot room.

Lots of talk about printing in low temps, heaters etc but has anyone had issues with heat?

Australia is currently experiencing its hottest January on record and is expected to have the hottest summer on record. Average maximum temps where I live have been just over 38 degrees C over the last 30 days (long term average max 32.5). My Photon is in a room (printer room) that faces the west and although our house is air conditioned I generally don't cool the printer room as I don't spend much time there. Temps in the room peak at 35 degrees at 5pm and don't really dip down below 28. So far no issues with the Photon's prints but not sure if this is good longer term?

It's great for filament storage with humidity often below 20%!

Any thoughts?

Any ideas why this failed ? Maybe I need more supports. It's hollowed out and had drain holes but stuck to vat near the end.

Anyone know why sometimes Chitubox doesn't want to place a hole? I hollowed out two models with 2mm walls, tried placing holes in the flat bottom parts, one worked the other doesn't.

After a disastrous start due to an error of my own when setting the printer for the first time ... I achieved my first 3D printing.

So today I started to print the last piece to my bust, which is his weapon. In the slicer with all the settings default except for exposure time it told me that at 0.05 it would take 13hrs. This weapon is literally a giant sewing needle with no real detail and it's thinner than an average straw( basically an overglorified toothpick). So I decided to set it to 0.25 and reslice it, cool it now tells me it'll be a 2hr+ print... yet it's been printing for the last 6+hrs and is only at 65%. Am I missing something obvious here?

Any idea how this happened? There should have been 6 G36C, but 3 stuck to the FEP. They were arranged in a 2x3 shape, the middle 2 and one from the left is missing. Definitely not level problem since the completed ones are in different corners. Could it be temperature? Its adout 18 degrees Celsius where i print.

Hi everyone!Thanks for admitting!
After a few successful prints with basic ac. Green resin I made two bad prints. The first I think was a bad positioning paralell to the tray.25 mm coins, big flat surfaces on picture 1-3
The second attempt was different in the positioning but the print failed.
The objects became half the size of the original ones and became oval and again failed at the top layers...
Now I repaired and try again..
The second attemt (pictue4-6)I sliced wit chitubox, the first chitu.

I'm using ChitUBox and it's working fine. Question: is there a way to measure an item on the plate? I need to scale items often and would like to drag a ruler from point to point to measure. For example, scaling figures for HO train layouts. I can't see a way to know if they are 6' or 10' tall!

Anyone use Yellow Magic 7 as a resin wash? I don't like using IPA, and the Monocure ResinAway is way too expensive ($90 for 2l). I have read that the Yellow Magic 7 in pretty good in a sonic heated cleaner? Anyone try it?
