Okay to all of my friends here in space modeling this is kind of an emotional post for me because this is a milestone! I mean that in the truest definition this is a marker did I can see that is a definable difference in the detail from when I started this project to now. In a small way I'm making an appeal for those who don't understand what you can do with 3D printing that it is only just a next logical step for those of us who would detailer models.
That being said this is the next build display this is for our friend John Bradbury and is titled Learning to Fly without wings! It's the depiction of three of the NASA engineer astronauts who we're proving the concept of reentry with a vehicle that needed no wings they're Towing the M2 F1 which would later be the m2f to and the vehicle that crashes in the ubiquitous opening of the Six Million Dollar Man.

Getting ready to replace the FEP for the first time. I've watched the video and looks straight forward. I do have a couple of questions - the FEP I am using is the replacement one included with the printer. Is there any film I need to removed from the sheet? I had heard that some have a protective film. Secondly, How important is it to get the 13mm gap correctly? They use a drink cap that they say is 13mm, but I can't find one that is 13mm lol. Is close enough good enough?

But it dosent print after a height of about an inch. No material on film.I have have checked the cable, tried diff resins. Different slicer settings and support structures. Tried chitubox and photon slicer. Always the same it just seems to stop emmiting

First time casting bronze. Considering I had no clue what I was doing I’m going to call this a success. Used Easycast HD resin and ancient bronze for the metal.

I have tried to install the system through the USB and through the website but both them results in the same error (image attached), also tried to uninstall and install again and nothing. Then tried the ChiTu DLP Slicer32 and also resulted at the same error. Did the Windows update and results the same.
I need help to identify the reason of the error and fix it. Is it the PC's configuration? What are the Software needs to run properly?

I've seen a lot of conversation about resin temperatures, even people putting heat pads around the printer and insulating them. I'm assuming certain types of resin have more problems than others? Because so far I've seen no evidence of low temperatures affecting print quality with Anycubic resins.

I've had this Anycubic Grey resin left in the vat and untouched for about 3 weeks, which we know is perfectly fine. After a quick stir, I printed this last night and it's turned out perfect. Garage ambient temp is 3-7c.

So the question is... is all the fuss about temperatures aimed at specialist resins (casting etc) or is it just a load of rubbish?

My experience with FDM printing and many FDM groups is that there's an awful lot of people who talk utter nonsense and you and up with thousands of people thinking its got to be done a certain way.

Photonsters,
I need your advice on how to prevent wraping of small thin parts while postcuring?
I printed some speaker enclosures 16 x 9 mm with 0.4 mm wall thickness.
Come perfect out of the printer. Ipa bath ok. After curing for 5 minutes with nail uv lamp they start to wrap.
I leave the supports on while curing.
Your advice is much apprechiated.
