Currently printing a large fan/filter adapter for the top of the enclosure and I got to wondering, is there a reason that the chamber needs to constantly vent? Could you not just keep the fan off until the print is done, run the fan to purge the chamber, and call it a day?

Aside from possibly cooling the electronics in the base, keeping the default fan off and purging at the end shouldn't hurt anything, no?

What's gone wrong? This STL had printed fine several times, but this time is very stepped and distorted. There were several extra bits projecting off the roof of the wagon in very thin layers. When I cleaned up the vat, there was a large rectangular smear of resin cured on, as well as a jelly-like shadow of the supports of the STL.

The previous print just an hour or two before was absolutely fine - but thinking about it, I had noticed some kind of bubbles under the FEP, and gave the bottom of the FEP and top of the screen a gentle wipe with some paper tissue slightly moistened with IPA. I thought it was dry before putting the vat back - but perhaps it wasn't, and the moisture trapped under the FEP caused the problem? (Refraction issues?)

With this much resin cured onto my FEP in such a thin layer, which seems very difficult to get off, is the FEP ruined?

Yeti print that I sculpted for fun a couple of days ago. Printed using Monocure 3D Rapid Resin Grey. Settings were .05, 12, 1, 90, 12 with Medium Supports.

Tried the proto putty diy mold and used my wax injector...this isnt near perfect but a good first run. Now to get this printer working properly again.

]Solved] - setting normal exposure to 14 did the trick :)

Having a partial failure of supports with the anycubic red.
Printed the same model with green a while ago and came out perfect.
Settings for red were 0.05-12-6.5-50-8
Wondering if upping normal exposure will give better results or if it's another setting I need to play with
