This is the first model I've printed from my own design - its a 1900s railway wagon in 1:152 scale. I angled the body in two axis in the Photon slicer to try and avoid too much stepping. However, while the sides of the wagon that faced more "away" from the build plate, those that were angled toward the plate both have a kind of bulge about half way up. This seems to be a bulge at the corner where the roof started printing. I'm guessing this is a suction type issue with the bulkier roof parts being supported by the one corner? My design was kind of hollowed, but the roof is still quite thick. I'm planning to try again with more hollowing. Any suggestions for optimising the print angle for this type of design? Given that the whole thing is pretty small, would a solid part actually work better in terms of suction forces? Stock anycubic green resin with 0.2mm layers, Slicer auto supports.

Finally finished these... still altering the model to make it easier to print. Phrozen ABS-like Gray, .04 and .05 layer, about 25 separate parts each. The engine alone is 10 parts.

Hey guys, thanks for the accept!

i just bought an Anycubic Photon and am having some issues with it and i wonder if you can help me?

Basically, when i plug the USB stick in, the touchscreen freezes. The stick flashes as if it's being read but the screen is still frozen. When i unplug the USB stick, the screen works instantly again.

Here's what i've done so far -
*I've reformatted the USB stick with FAT32 - nothing changed.
*I've unplugged the USB extension cable and plugged the USB stick directly into the motherboard - nothing changed.
*I've tried all of the above with 2 different memory sticks.
*I've tried plugging the stick in and THEN turning the machine on. The screen is unfrozen right up until i press print and it shows me 4 black squares (as if nothing is on the stick) and then freezes.

It sort of feels like a firmware issue but i'm hesitant to change that as the site's firmware is older than the one on my machine.

I got one print off it fine (part of it failed but i think that may be to my incorrectly leveling the plate) and now it's acting all peculiar.

So, my 1st non-test-cube print was a total failure; it only printed the bottom layers, stuck to the vat, and nothing on the platform. I am assuming this means that something didn't adhere where it was supposed to? I used the settings in the Anycubic Photon Resin Settings for Anycubic Green .05 layer (10, 1, 50 8)

Should I try changing the bottom exposure from 50 to 60?

Has anyone tried printing a stencil for airbrushing?
I'm trying to print a letter stencil but it's not working for me. The stencil is very small with the letters being only 2mm tall (it's for a HO scale loco).
I've found when I print that it's not printing the letters and i'm just getting a solid block of resin with the letters very lightly engraved in one side. The writing on the plates behind the stencil are visible when printed so i'm not sure why the stencil won't work.
This is how i'm printing it and my settings with Monocure Rapid Grey. I've also tried printing flat onto the bed.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Ordered two bottles - curious to see if I can for example get 4s exposure per layer (0.035mm preferably)

Is it possible to set up a print to start from a certain layer like with FDM? Had a print stop at 97% because of a memory error. I unplugged the USB (not the stock USB stick) then plugged it back in per the error code's instructions and it said the print was completed. Thanks!
