I had lots of residue issue and decided to print this to check. Marked areas are with residue. All the rest is perfect. Why there is such a problem?

Slightly gutted, after just the test cube and two small prints my fep is dead.

Quick question before the story of woe - why are Anycubic's FEP sheets so expensive? Is it just the name or are they better than the cheaper options?

The resin had been in the tank a while so before getting my print going, being all belt-and-braces I thought I'd strain it just in case. While I had the tank out in my UV protected cabin, before I'd cleaned it I had to open the door for a moment, seriously it was just a moment and no direct sunlight, but the resin in the tank cured! Annoyed, I cleaned it all out but luckily thought I'd just check it by lying the tank on a tissue and putting a little IPA in there, and lo and behold it started to seep through a microscopic hole onto the tissue.

Thank goodness I checked, or it'd have been resin leaking onto the glass for the next 11 hours! I did buy some of that Kapton tape after the recommendation I read here the other day but I'm glad I didn't accidentally put it to the test!

So I now know how to change the fep, I've re-levelled using the Flint Reed method (the paper method works fine for me before too) and a new print is on the go, fingers crossed all this hasnt upset my little machine as it was doing fine so far.

Hi everyone. Loved the anycubic photon. 6 weeks later. Uv packs up and fell out off love. The custumer service is terrible. They were quick to respond by telling me to take it to bits and do a voltage test. Im no electriction. Didnt do it. Next they said do firmware update. Did that with the file they sent. No change apart from a error comes up now. Then they said take the motherboard out and voltage test. Is this normal for a company to tell you to do these. When you have no idea. 6 weeks old and cant use it
