test printing on the fdm anycubic i3 mega. my beheaded nosferatu model i did long time ago. no supports no infill 3 shells. will be uploading later tonight or tomorrow. should look good in resin also.

Has anyone encountered a Photon reboot mid-print? I started a print and heard the printer literally shut off and restart. I raised the plate and it was printing and cleaned off the first few layers and then power cycled it. It was fine afterwards. Is this due to the cheap power supply? What's are people using as power supplies?

I need Help. I have for unsuccessful attempts with Blucast X5, model fall from the plate, I used different settings: LTicns- 0.025; BEtime 150 - 200; NExp. 10-16-20 of time 6.5, and in the middle of the stamp the model falls off the platform....

I just want to make sure I’m understanding these results correctly. The resin is a mix I’m trying out for durability, and this is the first time I’ve needed to run the exposure test. These results mean that the exposure was too long, correct?

Well that was interesting. A week old photon was printing fine -then started printing crap. I took the tray out to find a previous support piece pierced the film and resin was leaking and hardening under the film. What fun. Luck I have a spare tank. Will have to drain after every print going forward. Not really worth the effort. Will be on eBay shortly. Back to fdm ?
