Hi guys,

Do you recommend 2.0 or 3.0 USB for loading your files to Photon? stock USB is trash...any recommended size? don´t know if printer may have problems with bigger ones (32/64gb).

I've seen people saying they've been adding dye to their white and clears.
Is there a particular dye one should be using?
What are your experiences with mixing resins?
Am wanting a solid green, as apposed to the translucent. What ratio would one suggest I mix with white?

Hey guys thanks for the accept. Im new with the anycubic photon, although i had a wanhao d7 with some terrible experiences. I had great success with he anycubic brand green that came with the printer, however when i changed out the resin to anycubic maroon im not having any luck. Does anyone have cure settings for this? I was spoiled as for my wanhao i had presets in my slicer already.

It's obviously a flexible soft resin. Not only for flat plate model , but also for 3D models print.

Got the springs but too much in the steps

A little more in the normal exp. Still some layer separation in them tabs. But less than 1st try

Second attempt with oiled z-rod (used WD40 but have some lithium grease now) at 0.02 using settings from the Google docs sheet. The layer lines are almost gone, I have one more suggestion to try, printing at a steeper angle for a more even peel which I'll do next. That said though, I'm really happy with the subtlety of the layer lines now, but those pixel marks are a problem. I know I can't totally avoid them but I'm sure I've seen smoother prints. Any tips on smoothing out the pixel marks more?

I'm using Anycubic green on a yellow window machine bought in August using the settings suggested in Google docs. Those settings seem to work well on this printer, the details are so crisp that the pixel marks are obvious :/ I'm wondering if raising the exposure time would soften the pixel marks, perhaps at the cost of some detail?

Hi. Just bought photon and got it yesterday. My first print failed since somehow I have entered “0” to exposure time instead of wanted value. So I only got printed base layers.... my bad... however, after process was “finished”, z-axis totally stopped working... absolutely no movement, not any buzzing sound of motor either. Contacted seller (anycubic store at ebay) and they suggest to try to update the software, and if won’t help, open printer and measure motor windings according to youtube video they got. Great solution to do on brand new printer out of the box..... however I will have to try.... just investigating if anyone had such an issue with z-axis stepper motor?

I have problem with prints, good prints for a while , now im missing supports and the first layers of the object are deformed.

Medium supports, base layer 80, 10layer, 15normal wanhao grey 0.05

I printed same objects with 2photons same thing, I was thinking that it might be a gcode error.
I validated the files with photon file validator and fixed island errors.
Eny help ?
