Hello everybody. I have a question on position/rotation for miniatures with a base.
Lately I've been printing with a relative degree of success. However I haven't had a perfect print just yet, and I feel that most of the time the better prints are done vertically, with the base directly on the build plate.
Problem is, it's too difficult to remove the miniature from the base when I print like that, even with a steel spatula, and I end up damaging part of the base when scrapping/impacting.

So, to the question itself: is it possible to put a miniature perfectly vertical, and add supports to the base? I worry about the 90degree it forms between support and the miniature base, and that it won't print right.

Any suggestion and idea is welcome.

Why the marks
New FEP tonight. Was super tight.
This is the monocure FEP. Not as clear as the FEP that came with the Photon.

I used gray colored Esun General Purpose Resin. The print seems fine overall. I think exposure time needs to be revised for better details. Printed at 0.050 with 15/6.5/50/8. Size is 4.5 cm from chin to top. No primer yet. Just pure grey color resin.

Incredibly happy with a few days work. It took a while to get in a groove, and had quite a few mistakes (some not even worth keeping in the imperfect jar). From occasionally failing d4s and a half failed screen...it’s been an interesting challenge. But so worth it. All of these are being donated to blind gamers and stores ? Now for all the post processing!

Well after being the guy that says "i dont smell anything from the resin" I ran the whole bottle of anycubic green that came with te printer through. Maybe a faint smell..maybe.

I put some monocure rapid gunmetal grey in today........

Yep... now i can smell it!!! My rooms 2300 square foot and you know the printers running!!

Uhh, so i have meshmixer and trying to figure this program out and how to hollow a model. Is that all that meshmixer is used for? or anything else? and any good tutorials on how to use meshmixer decently?
