Hi everyone, can you guys help me ? my printer's z motor stopped working although everything else works fine. I checked the motor itself and it's fine.
What do you guys think the reason is?

News by Master NaKo that has tested the theory. Kudos Master :)

So this can work out of the box without any messing with the Gcode.

Will probably void your warranty. since you will need to solder header pins into the Z pinout in the board unless you buy some pogo pins that i do not advise :P

The driver he tried is a LV8729, but any step/en/dir type driver will do.

To use the driver without changing the config.gcode you must set your driver to 1/16 setps that in most drivers means connection ms1/ms2/ms3 to 5v

I advise tinkerers to buy a extension board like the one i post a picture of and avoid protoboarding all together, you can get these for 1 euro on ebay

The correct math for the original reference value is (Motor Rating) 1.5A x0.8 ==> 1.2v (reference voltage) so anything between 1.0v and 1.2v should be ok

I'm trying to squeeze all the models I can from the sample resin, so as to waste as little as possible. With that in mind, I've been printing 6mm human figures, and I have to managed to print 50 models with 20g of resin in the vat!!
I've reached the limit of spreading the models along the borders, so, now l have to place the models in one of the corners :D problem is, I can't tell which is where. In the slicer photo I've attached, there is an origin in the lower left corner. Where is this located physically?
