First test print is done! And it came out as well as I could hope for
:D
The model I used for the test is a 1/200 scale Jagdpanther by m_bergman which I found on Thingiverse. This is close in size to the kind of miniatures I wanr to model and print eventually.
I decided to print 5 of them at once to see how parallel printing would hold up. Each model is angled slightly as I've heard that that would improve print quality, but not so much that it would heavily increase printing time (I hoped).
For supports, since I'm a complete n00b at this, I used the auto-support feature. But I set them to light and increased the density. The end result is probably way more supports than necessary XD but at least the thin gun-barrels didn't warp.
I'm really happy with how they turned out. Especially because I found I couldn't both keep the room ventilated and warm at the same time, so had to settle for a cold room partway through the print. I also believe I had almost run out of resin in the tray 70% through, but it looks like I refilled on time.
Very happy with this first try! Let's hope my luck will hold up with this machine!
