Increase either bottom exposure or count (what are your current settings?).
Possibly increase the amount of bed contact by spreading things out / extra supports.

I cornered Amazon yesterday. Employee wasnt supposed to say, but they are giving products sold directly by themselves priority, then critical, then sticking a month off date for anything else third party.

He kind of clammed up. I needed parts for a c lient repair that is exclusively working a COVID call center. I pushed to see if they would give exception. He basically summarized that if a warehouse shift finishes all above noted categories, they would start filling backorders of other items, but as that it was a subscribe and save week, nothing else likely will move until next weekend.

Look for this shipped by and sold by Amazon. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything in 3d printer under this term. This will come to bite them, both from buyers and sellers. They just removed a months income from their sellers. Threw them under the bus for their own profit.

So I ordered yesterday for some elegoo water washable grey resin from Amazon and it said on the order delivery expected April 23rd. But it arrived on my doorstep this morning. So I guess if you are near a hub that has it in stock and are prime members you will get it sooner?

After being able to get resin for under $20 for 500ml it irritates me now that I am seeing it for double that. Luckily for me I sort of stocked up a couple of weeks ago and I have about 4500ml in the closet

i like thingiverse although i have never once used it to search for models. my search engines takes me there.. but i certainly do not talk down about a site that gives free models without tons of adverts. but i guess haters gotta hate..

They have been cleaning house with many models. So posters on thingiverse are saying there stuff is getting removed without any warning.

I don’t hate it just hate how slow it is right now, granted there is like a 500% boost to average traffic because of al the quarantines so it’s to be expected

According to their Twitter. They switched servers and are still working on transferring stuf. They should have everything up and running within a couple of weeks.
Unfortunately they don't have the capacity right now for thousands of people searching FREE stuff on a FREE site. That should get better in the near future.

The virus stay at home advice is adding to the situation many folk are probably seeking 3D printing activities for the family etc,.

Thingiverse has always been laggy and crap - pandemic or not. I genuinely don't know how they've maintained such a badly optimised website for this long.

I have not heard anyone liking the new page but it is still free and they will probably try to make it better. Besides, everyone and their brother is on Thingiverse in quarantine which screws up the site outside of their control.

For me it has been pathetically slow since Christmas and possibly before.

Darren Wade really? I mean it’s always been slow for sure, but usually loads for me within 15-20 seconds, definitely taking a minute or so now that everyone’s home and downloading.

I had quite a few days I was wanting to search for something and give up after letting it spin for a couple of minutes even though I found the thing through yeggi and knew it existed so that I didn't have to use their interface to search.

No need to clean the vat after every print.

You are actually shortening the lifespan of things like the fep by cleaning every print. Just clean when you change resin. You'll be fine.

I empty and clean the vat after every print and clean the build plate. But I don't print all that much. Once every few weeks.

Way to much.

Vat clean after a failed print or once a month / when resin changed
Build plat once a month
Inside printer weekly quick dust / once over with IPA / cleaning solution

I run 20 resin printers almost 0 failures.

I don't even clean the plate unless it's when I change resins or I know its gonna sit idle for a while.

Clean vat the same way unless theres a failure, then I strain the resin to see if theres any stuck or loose bits. Get them out and keep going.

If you don’t have parts of a print fail there’s no need to clean like that...some of my printers are going on a couple weeks of 24/7 printing and I only remove the print, make sure the plate is clean and start the next print

Scott Pavlich ditto same with me. Now if they would make an auto filling mechanism for the vats so I don’t worry about running out. I already fill it as max as I can without over flowing and never pause to add more.

I clean off the build plate with Sprayway and a paper towel, clean off my scraper the same way, and get on with more printing. As others have said, unless you have a failed print, it's sufficient to just refill the vat and keep on going.
