Hey all, another newbie photon question I’m afraid. Is it normal to experience a ‘cracking’ sound when the bed lifts after exposure? Coming from a sparkmaker background and never noticed this before. Tried to relieve the bed and reset with the paper method several times but still seem to be experiencing the failed print demons.
Any hints on what to look into next would be very gratefully received! ? ? ?

Any idea what could cause a support failure in that position? There wouldn't have been any stress on the support at that stage that couodnhavr caused a problem as far as I can see.

Ok, I am now on my second Z motor stopped working. The first time, only 3 days after buying the machine I had to wait several weeks for the new motherboard to arrive. It just happened again last night (2 months into owning the machine). Does this happen that often? Is there a way to fix it myself?

Can anyone help? I set this to print and had to stop it halfway through because it was slipping off the supports slowly. Can anyone help? Bottom exposure was 60s and normal exposure was 8s. And the contact shape was ‘none’

I’ve now changed normal exposure to 10s and the contact shape to sphere. I’m using chitu on an anycubic photon. The model is expected to weigh 160 ish grams. I was using medium supports too. Would it help if I changed to heavy?
