Has someone used the resin "HD Slate" by B9 on their Photon? As the B9 has LED lighting as well, I would assume this material would also work on the Photon. Would that be correct?

Hello everyone! As a designer, artist and overall tinkerer, I always found 3D printing fascinating but daunting while also frowning at the finish of FDM printers (which are typically the most affordable and wide-spread). However after seeing Daniel Feeney 's true-scale Iron Warriors (big miniature nerd here) and consequently discovering the Photon I started educating myself in LCD-SLA printing and 3D printing in general.

After dealing with numerous materials, sculpting and replication techniques, something like the Photon is like a creator's wet dream.

That being said, while *very* affordable, especially with the current deal, I found out about it at a time where the wallet is a bit dry, ahah! I was wondering, can someone tell me how often does Anycubic have this sort of promotions? And any other tips or considerations when getting into the Photon or this sort of 3D printing?

Taking any and all thoughts, I am new to resin 3d printing and was wondering about the post print cure. I have a piece to an electric sander that broke and I was wondering about using one of my printers to replace it. The problem is that the piece appears to be made of nylon and has a thin cross section ( about 0.100" diameter). Additionally looking at one of the pieces that didn't break it is meant to flex. I do not have any nylon filament nor do I plan on buying any as the sander is cheap. My question is that if I make the piece with the photon but do not do the secondary cure will the piece keep its form just stay soft or is the secondary cure necessary for the structure to stay together? So far my limited knowledge of resin printers is that the material is very brittle and I was not sure if that was just a result of the printing process or the secondary cure?

They all turned out great but the one in the video stands out. You can clearly see the difference in contrast ??

I've been having a weird issues on the last couple of prints (since i accidentally set the bottom layer exposure to 720 seconds) but also since i started with Monocure black.

prints come out fine, but afterward in the vat at the bottom, there's bits soft remnants of a flat sheet of cured resin as if i exposed the whole printbed.

this resin is translucent, so maybe light bleed on the 100s base layers bleeding out the edge? (printing direct to the plate)
