I overfilled my printer just a bit today. Is this a case of "Go forth and sin no more" or do I need to take the build plate apart?

After searching earlier posts I see people like Nick Williams filling a lot higher. I have seen saw another post that said they didn't have to take the ball screw apart for going to the height I did. There seem to be a lot of people who just always play it safe and year it down for even the slightest overfill...

Hi all ( pardon my poor spelling )

I have just got a Photon, my 1st print was a partial success but my 2nd print was a total fail.

As my 1st print progressed a small gap open in one side, this introduced a small stretch when "Zing up".

My conclusion is a tensile fail of the resin. im using "Anycubic UV plant-based resin rapid cure F 3d printer photon"

I think perhaps this resin is a little week?

I also think a few supports would fix this print?

Or slowing sum-thing like the up speed?

Hi Folks.
I have been thinking re the issue that some people have when the FEP leaks and your tray is stuck to the LCD.

Many of us have phone screen protectors i.e. the thin clear plastic overlay.
There are some available for larger tablets etc. One of these would be an idea if it covered over the screen and the edges.

Yes - you will have to re do you Z end stop.. but it might be easier that replacing a screen.
Alternatively if you are worried about the thickness of the screen protector there is also cling wrap.

Just some musings.

Noob here. I ran out of resin during a print, so it printed for a few hours with nothing in the vat. Any tips or tricks on making sure there is resin large prints? Or just be more vigilant?
