Bit difficult getting a good picture of a translucent resin but here we go. What is the hivemind's interpretation of this? I used the 50u.B100.2-20 test file. What settings is this showing would be best?

Hi all, i want to share the Chess Set I did for my upcoming son 40th B-day …. I did it using multiple media and technics … for the Chess Board I have use a Pine Board 16 “ x 16 “ that I primed Grey and then Cut in ¼ “ MDF,64 Frames to accept 64 > 3 d Printed Squares and then Painted each of them parts accordingly to the desired results.. many coats of Primer and Paint and at the end 10 coats of Clear Gloss finish … For the Chess Pieces I used Multiple Style of design … meaning that I wanted an Oriental /Medieval theme all Printed on both my Photon and Photon S .. After that Primed and painted with many coats of paint and clear … hope you like the end Results >>>> do not ask me how many hours but I know that it exceed 150 hrs. And took me 4 weeks from start to end …

Started zbrush a few months ago, first test prints went pretty decent....what do you experts think? Thank you for all the tips btw, Really helps quite a bit.

Would like to hear from some folks who have experience with smaller prints like rings and settings for stones. Any resin recommendations or settings you could share? Settings?

Somthing grew over the weekend in my IPA cleaning tub? I may have left some popped off supports from a resin print in it. I came back from the weekend to this substance in the 99% IPA. Any idea what this is or how toxic it is, and how to get rid of it? I’m using IB Red with my Gen 1 photon.

So I tried the exposure test for the Siraya Blu resin and it came out as a blank square. What am I doing wrong? I used the file labeled resin-test-50u b100. 2-20. I assume you just use the file from the layer height you normally print at right? Like the 50u is for printing at 0.05mm layer heights, right?

Somerhing worth mentioning. Got myself new photon last week, still geting used to it. While I was printing i noticed the print bed was kinda sinking after the axis has finished moving. Took the print bed off, disassembled it, and found that three bolts that hold the plate to the ball where loose-ish. Tighten them up and doing another test print. Before I was having some problems especially around supports area. Hopefully that will fix it.
