Trying to print this for a good friend of mine.

I have never tried something quite this complex.

Just bad supporting? Hopefully....

And yes, there are lumps in the bottom of the basin.

Neither the head, nor the base of the base turned out...

Elegoo Grey (with a tiny bit of Anycubic grey that was left over) The print from the night before turned out great.

Frustrated.

Anycubic green using spread sheet setting for .05.
File found on thingiverse.com
Painted with mostly citadel contrast paints and dry brush , with a wash of agrax over the entire thing.
Calling it done as I'm happy with the results.
Love being able to pull prints off the bed and have no prep for painting

Hola buenas tardes, estoy con un pequeño dilema en mi país con la resina, quiero comprar la impresora pero estoy viendo cómo traer la misma resina, aquí en mi país Uruguay tengo dos tiendas, una vende el litro a 800dolares se fue al carajo, y el otro a 200 dólares el litro, traer desde afuera la resina la aduana me cobra un %150 del valor del paquete, que opinan ustedes... Sería rentable comprar el litro de resina a más de 100 dólares ???

Hey uhhh photon newbie here, does anyone seem to understand why this failed? This was the test print on the flash drive included with the photon S. It looks like it was printing fine for a bit then the side just snapped off and it ended up getting squished in between the print and the fep.

- I know the white residue is from not letting the alcohol completely evaporate. -

I assume the print would fail earlier if the buildplate was uneven right? Is this something that pertains to exposure time? I’m using the anycubic green that was included with the printer. Any tips appreciated, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you in advance!

So when you start building models for 3D print there are many things to keep in mind. This model represents 45 hours of printing and another 33 hours of tests prints that failed. But you're going to get that in 3D printing.

Help my my understanding a little so I'm not fiddling with settings I don't understand.

Layer height - the actual thickness of the resin layer. These are compiled to form the print. (adjust this to create smaller layers and more detail, this increases print time. Lower layer heigjt means lower exposure time to avoid over Exposer l, whatever that is.)

Exposer time - this is how long regular layers are exposed to the uv LCD thus semicuring and forming a layer, le layer "cook time".

Bottom layer count - this is how many layers form the bottom base of the print. Everything, including supports, attach to this. (more layers = stronger? But takes longer to print.)

Bottom layer Exposer - this is how long those bottom layers are Exposed to the uv LCD thus semicuring them, they are normally much harder than the actual layers during the print. (not sure what adjusting this actually does.)

Light off delay - no idea what this does.

Bottom light off delay - same, don't know what this is for
