Hello guys! Lets see if i can explain myself. In the last few prints when i remove the finished model, this semi-cured goo is at the bottom of the container. The model itself its fine, but i wonder what its happening here. Any idea? The goo is consistent both in cuantity and location.

Received the build plate I ordered from Anycubic.
It is the machined surface version. So much flatter than the one supplied with my photon (anodized build plate).
Curious to see if that machined surface makes a difference when printing.

Have just installed, leveled and set zero. I’m going to try it out tomorrow

Well, my first print was a "success"!

Take it from me, remember to assign your printer's profile to ChiTuBox before you start printing!

The dude on the left is from an FDM printer, just for reference of what he should actually look like! made him slightly shorter prior to printing on the photon, the only issue was the diameter.

Happy that there were no failed bits though!

Just ordered my Photon. Should be here Monday. This will be my first 3D Printer and my first step into this world. As a veteran RPer and wargamer, I've been tempted by this allure before. Well, I bite the bullet.

I have made several prints on my photon plus at 50 micron layer thickness and have run into the first few layers being distorted. I imagine it’s because of the z-lift speed, minimal support structure, and a very thin layer height. Most of the resin exposure data out there is for 50 micron layer heights. Does anyone have data for 100 micron layer heights or a formula to increase know exposure times?

I have upgraded from a wanhao d7 to the photon s and loving it. Faster more reliable and can fill the plate with no failed prints. But one difference I noticed. My prints have steps and I didn't get that on nanodlp with my d7. I have attached a zoomed in picture. I print the tanks at 80 or so degrees on the back end.

After your printer has finished printing, for how long you let it sit unattended ? How fast after the print do you clean it?

Like when you start a print and it finishes at 9pm, you can leave it until the morning without problems, but when would you say you should start the cleaning at the latest point ?
