My photon, creates extra artifacts, towards the end of the print. The artifacts are a few layers thick and parallel of the build plate.

Any ideas what that is? and how I can avoid it?

How long can I leave ressin in the vat? The instructions say that it should not be left for more than two days, and I have no intention of leaving a vat full of ressin if I wont use the printer for a while, but curious. The reason I started to wonder is that I have not printed for over two weeks, and I noticed that I had not cleaned the plattform (I know, stupid mistake, keel your machine clean at all times), and the ressun had not cured at all, instead there were big drops of liquid ressin on it. My Printer is positioned in a way so that almost no sunlight reaches in to the machine, and i even left the protective film on the sides to reduce exposure as much as possible.

EDIT: This is how I have places it, the back is facing a window that never gets direct sunligt, and the vinyl film on the sides have not been removed. Foto added

the electricity just went off then on. thank goodness I've connected my printer to the external power supply, it's called an "online ups"

after the last electricity fluctuation killed my photon's screen and killed my refrigerator.

I advise you all to get one.

So technical advice guys, put the new screen that finally arrived in the Photon that was giving screen errors out of the box. Now it doesn't send anything to the screen when running the test and gives error tones on startup. Any ideas? Is it a main board fail out of the box? Could it be a dodgy lcd connector on the main board?

It seems a bit of a strange error to be presenting after something as simple as an lcd replacement.

Edit: Please note that the new screen was a warranty replacement as this unit had issues out of the box.

Edit 2: Ok so flashed the firmware and got rid of the other errors, but the problem with the screen persists. Looks like it's time to email support back again.

Hi, having an issue with my printer this morning, has been printing fine yesterday, but his morning there is a noise coming from it, and it is not progressing past 1%. I have taken the built plate off and checked it, cleaned out my resin bath and replaced the resin, but still no joy. Any ideas or suggestions?

Does exist a 100% clear uv resin (that doesn't turn yellow) that I could use to print a pair of lenses for a costume? It isn't for glasses obviously, just I want to make customs shaped lenses for a costume.
