A few issues and false starts but here is my first successful print on the photon. Made a couple stupid rookie mistakes but live and learn.

This before I scraped that little piece of support off of the blade.

Well making progress. I tuned the FEP and feel like it's sticking slightly better. I had 1.5 successful prints out of 4. See pic below.

First try there was no suction sound so I cleaned it and restarted. Then I listened for suction and even checked at 50% and it looked good. Unfortunately shortly after it must've slipped off.

Got my Photon last week..Its main use will be making accesories for 1/12 scale figures..i knew it would give good results but the detail it can create is mind blowing..This helmet is just under 2cm wide,yet even the detail on the velcro came out..The orginal file for this helmet came from thingiverse but i did fix up a few areas where the detail was soft..

Hi can anyone recommend a resin im making a fan duct for my ender 3 not sure if standard resin will be good enough because of temp of hotend. Just thought id give it a try as will be much cleaner than printing on ender.

Have any of you tried printing this on the photon? I am guessing it has to be split into multiple parts using something like mesh mixer. What worked, or didn't, for you?

[Edit] I do not have an FDM printer. So the Photon is my only option for printing parts. I already have a nice 4" duct venting my shop outside (complete with electric fan). So 4" drier host makes a lot of sense for me

I got the photon for dnd minis and I’d like to start printing terrain and big creatures, can anyone tell me if it is worth the extra 100$ to get the Ender 5 vs the Ender 3?

How tall should space marine minis be? Not selling just printing some for my lad to paint, I tried 28mm and it seems tiny. Google returns alot of scale discussion and game terms i am not at all familiar with.
