Hi guys,

Got myself a Photon (and a Photon S) when they went on offer and been playing with them. More with the photon because of chitubox. Enjoying it so far, not as messy as I feared.

Anyway, any idea what's causing these groves? STL is of course smooth. Printing at an angle, think the lines are parallel to build plate.

Printing in pairs, once with infill and once solid. Appeared on all of them, but only on the one side. Mirror side is fine.

These are negatives and previously printed as rounded squares which didn't exhibit the problem. Other change I set 0.2 Z height this time (from 0.5) with reduced exposure.

Might try on the S and with anycubic software, but soils rather get feedback first rather than waste resin.

Any feedback greatly appreciated...

Can anyone run a Photon off a Raspberry PI or is the USB stick the only method so far?
I saw there is also an Ethernet port on the board but I assumed it was for future expansion?

So I have been printing the Hero's Hoard tile sets off nonstop practically since friday on my Photon. I have the Cavern, Dungeon and Tavern sets. I have had no issues with the dungeon and cavern sets.

Tavern however I cant get a single tile to print to save my life. I've tried reslicing with chitubox and photon slicer and they still keep coming out all identical. Any ideas what I can try to fix it?

Well, happened again. Things were going great at first, but then it fell off the build plate. A quick search did yield some tips to tighten my FEP. Sure enough, two bolts were loose. I ran the test at 50 second exposure for the base layers and I double checked that my build plate was zeroed and level.
So, I'm testing a small piece that I wanted to build and see if that will work. I also tuned my FEP with a phone tuner. Got it close to 400 hertz. Now we play the waiting game.
