Well, its my turn to ask the Hive for help. I've been printing on my photon for over 3 months around the clock. Just recently, I started seeing these weird, loose layers attached to my prints. It just happened all of a sudden and havent been able to get rid of them. I've replaced my vat. Leveled the print bed. Have had successful prints, just have this extra goop along with the prints. Did an LCD and lamp test. They checked out. Any other ideas? Old resin maybe?

Just tested orange glass of anycubic photon-s and 405nm laser pointer.

Yes, it does block quite significant part, but still i can see very well spot on wall thru this glass.

In the photo it can be seen much worse, but still visible.

It's rare that I say my photos don't do the models justice, today I am going to say it. The expression on the little girl's face is beautifully sculpted, I actually feel some sympathy for her when looking at the model, it's just really well done! I think my camera (well, blame me) focused in front of her and you can't quite make out just how pained her expression is and how well-detailed the sculpt is.

There is a painted version out there I'm hoping Dmitri Shevchenko will post it to save me. This model set is such a great hook for D&D, end of a raid (goblin or human), track down the brutal wife-abusing husband, stubborn widowed farmwoman won't sell her land to the town villain and gets murdered, hooks off these are just endless!

Since I tightened the FEP as much as possible and with a music tuning app reading 500Hz, the FEP last longer and have no dents even with picking out failed prints.

Am I the only one?

One other burning question. Is the glass of the Photon UV protector? Can I place the printer in front of a window without being worried that the resin in the vat could harden from the light? Or should I cover the windows of the printer completely with something?
