How do you guys get rid of your IPA / resin bath? I see a lot of people talking about putting it in a container in the sun or in a UV Box. Curious what you guys do.

what is your fastest running resin at 0.02um layers without a heater? I picked up Siraya Easy for price and fastest running based on google sheet, but it appears the google sheet was far off on Siraya Easy.

Hi Guys! Long time listener, First time caller!
Iv had my photon for a 3 months now and have had some awesome prints rolling off of it.

I print a lot of 28mm mini's and normally leave my machine going through the night. I normally set an alarm for when its done, Get up, Turn it off and then go back to bed. Sometimes when I get up in the morning, clean the print and then go to clean the vat I notice that some resin has has seeped out the vat and is now between the screen glass and the vat. I thought the first time it did it was just maybe some spillage from me being careless and I even checked the FEP for holes or gapes but nothing. I removed some of the partly cured resin with a razor blade from the glass and with some IPA it was as good as new. I have noticed it happens more and more now - A fresh set up on Sunday, Printed for most of the day (2 or 3 units of minis), went to clear down Sunday night and there it is again!!! and we are not talking about like a few drops, im talking like enough to cover the whole area the vat takes up

My FEP looks in good condition no holes, few marks and lines but from what iv seen on here these things can take a beating and keep on trucking so I dont think its that, Im thinking about changing it out to see if that makes a diff?

Could it be that im leaving the machine over night after its printed (say it stops at like 01:00 then I would not be up until like 07:00 so maybe that is leaving it to long full of resin?)

Has anyone else had this issue? and if so what was the fix? any help from the hive mind is appreciated!

Pic: Just for attention Its the second print I ever printed! lol

Let's play "Name that problem". Who's got a guess?

EDIT: I just realized when people started commenting, that I didn't use the new updated file for this print where I added more supports. I'll retry it tonight. Thanks all

I am completely new to 3D printing. My machine has not arrived yet.

I am trying to do research on best resin’s and how to color them. I am hoping to not get super brittle parts as they are for a visual prototype. Which is why I need to color them. I have looked into painting and it appears that mixing colors is more the direction I want to go.

I also need a clear option that works best and comes out clear. Fred Breton I was told you were the guy to ask about this.

Thank you in advance for all the help!

I know this is kind of the most asked question, most discussed issues, but I've already done everything on this damn internet, except sanding the plate cause the printer is brand new and this would annoy me and my warranty.

My prints are not sticking to the bed, that's it. I'm tightening the fep screws, I've added washers to lower the plate and the arm is not touching the vat. I tried leveling with paper as well with the vat. I hear the sound on first layers for suction but: NOT WORKING

Many questions lately but this forum is helpful. One more question. The printer is jumping about 1 cm between the first layers resulting in failed prints. It zero's and starts correctly but then jumps. I have sliced with chitu and photon and with supports and flat on the platform and the same thing happens each time. any thoughts?

Having a problem with suction. I have gotten no further than 8% into my latest print before everything on the build plate pulls off the build plate and sits in the vat.

I am using Siraya Easy, running 8 base layers, 160s base exposure (hey, I was trying to make it work...), 16s exposure. I don't have a heater, I'm running in an air conditioned apartment, I've installed the 3m 6001 filter (which doesn't do a lot to fix the smell, but helps some). I know the build plate is level, because I get 6-9% without issues before it rips free, and when I check earlier, the print is definitely on the build plate.

I did fully load the plate, and put 8 artisan guild models on it at once, hollowed, with holes to each hollow section. Prepared with Prusa slicer at 150% for supports (seems like that worked fine as all supports are good).
