I've been running the original PSU since I got my photon. I looked at upgrading but then decided that since I have this one, might as well use it! It may be overkill but I'm sure the photon will never exceed the power output of this 12V 20A PSU. Lol

Hi guys! Just got an interesting email from Solidmaker!
They just released a new slicer i will download later and see what it can do, i imagine it should work with our Photon since it is for SLA printers...it’s called Solidpreform v2.

hi, is it possible that the resin go bad in the bottle once opened? i hav one open for 20 days n i cannot make it stick on the bed, other resin works

So I just dumped the last of my 1L of Anycubic Green into my vat. I have 1L of Elegoo Grey next. Can I add it to the remaining green after this print or should I get rid of all the green first? Also anyone know off hand the new settings I will need in Chitubox when switching to the Grey?

So I've been using Monocure3D resin from the start with my Photon S with no issues. I have been asked to print a (minecraft) Creeper ring for a friend. So I opened the green transparent resin that came with the printer.

As I was changing resin I cleaned the vat and re-leveled, however now I am getting a lot of what looks like half cured pieces of resin floating to the top whenever the print head goes down into the vat. I stopped cleaned vat and re leveled again, but am still getting them.

Is this something that happens with the Anycubic resin?

My Monocure3D resin should arrive Wednesday so I'm going to do a test and not re-level the print bed and see if I continue to get them with a different brand.

Note: I did change my print settings in slicer to suit the Anycubic resin.

Anyone looking for tools to get prints out of IPA w/out needing to put gloves on, I use these guys. You can "set" your tension to be pretty delicate. I use gloves for really delicate parts, but these things are easy and quick to print on your FDM.
