I'm not a native english speaker hope you understand me :)

I updated my Photon and the Update has only 2 Files. Older updates has more then the 2 Files as example "255.lcdimg" or "Printer parameters.gcode"
I have never updatet the Photon bevor and now i am confused about the extra Files.

Do I need the older updates ?

Not something Photon specific, besides wanting to print them, but back in the 90's when i was a kid playing Dungeons & Dragons, I had a set of metal miniatures from Ral Partha. They were the Lord Soths Charge set, with a dozen armoured, skeletal warriors on horseback, and their knighted leader Lord Soth.

The set as based on a bit of Dungeons & Dragons artwork from the time. Sadly i've lost them over the years, and trying to find them on ebay seems harder than finding hens teeth.
Has anyone seen any figures around that look roughly like these, or know where i could ask or look?

Hi folks

Thanks for the add

I’ve not gotten an resin printer before so I’m very fresh to them but I have an e5 and cr10s already so I have some background in 3d printing

Anyways I’ve purchased an anycubic photon printer and I’ve looked up a few printable mods for it on thingiverse.

I’m wondering what any of you may recommend are the best mods (if any) I oughta print in expectation for its arrival?

I would appreciate some help from you all please. Recently my, non- photon, DLP printer is printing but missing parts out. Not sure if it's a slicing software error, support error, or maybe a faulty screen?. See pic. There appear to be holes of missing resin?

Hi everyone. Another newbie to the group here. Have had my photon for a couple of months now, I've been getting some weird problems with prints.

Most of these problems I've solved by a combination of using ChiTuBox and up-to-date firmware, but this one has me confused.

I am trying to print a chassis for a model railway wagon. I'm printing it flat on the bed, with the top surface against the bed. The model has 4-fold symmetry - one corner was drawn, then mirrored to form the other corners, so all four corners should be identical. The model has been printed without supports, and almost all of it has come out fine. One corner though is missing everything below the first couple of layers, and there's a thin silhouette attached to the FEP there.

Any thoughts on why that might be?

Any zbrush sculptors in here? I am trying to learn how to sculpt, but I need help, please. I am trying to sculpt Mazikeen, from Lucifer, using this photo. See where the eyeball looks like it is protruding from the eye socket a bit? How can I make that eyeball go away?

Hi all...
I have a question regarding FEP film.
I just got my anycubic photon last week, and i noticed a big scratch on one side of the film, what should i do?
should i be worried, and how do i test it to make sure that it wont leak resin on to my display..
Please helpppppppppp....

I am not trying to slam on Photon at all. Just need clarifications.

I picked up a Photon (Photon 1) a few weeks ago. Started out printing fine. Then it started to shut down mid print. I received a replacement (Photon 2). I still have Photon 1.

I grabbed the power supply from new one and decided to chech power draw. I also just got a new Mars. Checked Mars power draw to compare.

- Photon 2 draws 90 watts during exposure of 1st layer of included test print ? ?

- Photon 1 draws 40 watts ?

- Mars draw on it's test print 1st layer was 40watts.

Searched this forum and found a few refernces that photon max draw was 20 watts (UV array I assume).

So can someone clarify all this?

Voodoo sorcerer, thank you Susan Sioux Mercer for pointing to that amazing model, sliced in chitubox 1.4, layer height .03 / 7.5s, resin phrozen grey, AA x 2

I only removed supports with a flush cutter, not even sanded, nor UV cured. My personal tip, put your model in hot water after IPA, supports become very soft and are removed very easily

Curtain supports is a thing ? ?
