Good evening everyone. I have had a MPMS V2.1 for about 2 years now, primarily for miniature printing, and some odds and ends larger prints. While it handles well still, I think it's time to step up to a resin printer for miniature as the details they can put out seem to be amazing, especially for painting.

So, everything seems to point to the Anycubic Photon to be the best bang for your buck. I have been looking over a large amount of the articles and posts by others, but a few questions posed to you.

If you had the choice again to purchase it again, would you? And if not, what would you choose? And how much do they usually run on the flash sales?

I need help. I just assembled the photon yesterday and tried the print that came with the usb drive. It failed twice at the same places. In the vat I found a film of cured resin ... I did the level twice and I am using the stock resin. I know there is like a ton of people asking for help but if any of you kind soul can help me it would be appreciated.

Finally got my photon !!! Followed all the instructions in the manual, and started the test print. I didn't hear no pop sound that I keep reading others have said or maybe it's so subtle I didn't notice it. Am I missing something or is it supposed to make the pop sound that u can notice it?

Anyone have settings that work well for the Monoprice grey resin? Its not on the list and I'm about my 10th failed print in a row with it and it is driving me nuts. Had zero issues with any cubic green.

Does anyone else just add an hour to the suggest print time with the Photon's slicer? Or am I missing something. It's not a problem, my original printer - a da Vinci mini was never very accurate. I guess I got spoiled with the Cura.

Hey gang, hope everyone is having a better weekend than me :) I'm sure others have encountered this problem so I wanted to ask, have you ever had where your prints don't stick to the plate? my last several prints have come off the plate and then i just end up with a mess in my resin pool. Some of the models printed flawlessly the first weeks I had it, but now they seem to keep coming off...... any tips? Thanks in advance :)
