Just started my second print. First one made a nice little resin biscuit. Is there any way to know if it’s working? Should I see or hear a pop or release from the FEP? Or is this just the unknowable madness that I have to live with?

I’m coming from The FDM world where I know right away if things are going well.

So first print failed as it didn't adhere to the baseplate (releveled and zeroed it) this time out it looks like it was doing great, but seems to have a few issues. Any tips?

Thank you for letting me join the group. My husband and I just purchased our first resin printer and are having a lot of fun - along with some trial and error. We already have three FDM printers and needed a printer to make minifigs for gaming. I keep telling Dan (my husband) that eventually I'll have my robot army. lol. Thanks again! I can't wait to learn to get the most from our printer.

So, I have two different photons.
The first, I've had for about 4 or 5 months, have had to replace the screen. Updated firmware.
The second is brand new.
The first and second are using identical resins and settings.
The first fails prints consistently, the second succeeds with no issues. Its not a leveling issue.
Best I can think is that the LEDs must be weaker. Im printing Elegoo clear at 17 seconds and still having support failures on simple objects. With increased support depth and medium supports.

Not sure if they are visible, but I have marks and indentations in the FEP where models were. Is this normal or is the buildplate too close to the FEP?

Any advice on adjusting exposure time? My prints are a little bit swollen looking with bluecast X10 and I am wondering How many seconds I should reduce the normal exposure time. Currently at 10

So I had the FEP film on my printer start to leak right in the middle of the vat, does anyone know what causes this?

Please help. All my prints seem to be "melted" at the bottom (top?). The portion that is closest to the build plate.
Using original anycubic settings. Tried different usb sticks, same results.
Aside from the thinner prints, anything over 10mm seems to warp and melt.
