so here's a dumb question, I was using Anycubic Green, and had mixed results, now I'm using Anycubic Gray and have zero results, at first I thought user error, but after reading the page and seeing multiple comments about set times, I'm wondering if it's something to do with the bottles. Both anycubic bottles with exact same set times. Has anyone found a set spot to set these on? Currently I'm running 80 seconds BETs, and 15 seconds on NETs. And what about taking sandpaper to the bottom of the build plate?

EDIT- So after re leveling my bed and updating my resin exposure times I have had 2 back to back successes. Thank you everyone for the tips and information

I just bought a new flash drive and I am trying saved my projects on that but when I plug it into my photon nothing pops up as able to be printed, actually nothing pops up at all it is just the 4 black boxes. Any idea how to fix? Thanks!

So I go and redo my z axis. I hit the button to reset that as my new home once everything is right. Then I lift up the print bed hit the home button again and it doesn't go back to where I just leveled it to. I.E. I put a piece of paper under the print bed, adjust it till I feel drag on the paper. Set that as the new home level leave the paper they're adjust up hit home again and it doesn't go back to the same spot the papers slides out easily. I dont know a better way to say this.

I believe Chitubox 1.5 is miscalculating resin weight.

1) I confirmed the density of the resin by measuring out 10g of water and marking the level in this cup. I then weighed out 10g of Elegoo grey resin and the level is just below my mark - confirming a density of 1.1.

2) I hollowed the model to a .5mm shell with plenty of drain holes. Chitubox shows a weight of 7.6g of resin.

3) I weighed the vat before my print and after, showing 13.3g of resin was used. The finished model weighed 12.7g giving 0.3g of resin lost in cleaning.

Chitubox 1.5 underestimated the weight of the resin by 60%. Does the slicer not calculate the weight of supports?

Photon File Validator shows 12.6g which almost perfectly matches the actual print weight.

Am I doing something wrong?

Can anyone suggest a good alternative to Thingiverse for minifigs (Dark Future Sci-Fi type things)? I've mostly been printing (and designing) mechanical toys and such so far, but the signal-to-noise ratio on thingiverse for figurines seems to be terrible, so much of it is low-poly or has hideous mesh errors.

I have a .stl file that is a closed shell, but hollow. How do I make it solid? I tried using “make solid” in meshmixer but it only closes open meshes, not filling in interior volume. Thank you.
