Hi guys, I am curious as to what resin you all use, and which you find best?

Also curious if there are cheaper alternatives to the known brands?

I am using Prima value light grey, 1 liter costs €60 which I find a bit steep, or maybe it's a fair price? 1 liter doesn't last long, especially with bigger prints.

Hi Everyone,

So far I've had pretty good success with printing figures (~30-45°). I have the resin settings chart and have tried printing at 0.05 and 0.02 layer thickness, again with fairly good success.

The issue I am having now is trying to print flat parts (non-figures). I am trying to print directly on the plate since they are relatively simple parts. Do I still have to raise them up and add supports or is there any suggested settings for it? The picture below is an example of something I am trying to print. It is either a globby mess or it doesn't stick depending on whether I increase or decrease the bottom layer settings.

After sanding the build plate to be flat, i cant remove the parts that printed directly on the build plate. They stuck incredibly well. When i print them on the supports, bottom surface is kind of wavey and not flat. I am using this parts to make silicon molds, so they shouldn't have to be wavey. Do you have any recommendations?

Printer arrived in the mail today! Skipped the cube and went on to a part I've been needed for ages. Comparing it to my old on printed on the cr10 at .2mm just goes to show the difference. Idiot me still hasn't got the uv light so waiting for the sun to do its job tomorrow.

EDIT-

So even after setting the machine profile correctly, it still tries to raise the build plate before starting a print and then continues to try to lower for about 4 seconds after hitting the bottom of the printer.

This model is printing the correct scale nw but the arms are progressively getting worse.

Me again Group...

So when I slice my figure in ChituBox and save as Photon this is what happens (twice)

Got my Warg rider to print kind of. What causes the layer shift on this printer? Literally all the supports were way off and half the guys head did not print. It was definetly in the middle the bed was not over the edge.
