About 3 weeks ago, I ordered, from Anycubic a set of the steel FEP retainers for $12.00. I needed these to try and make a vat with a window. Well, 2 weeks later, I get one of the 2 steel rings needed. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. After about 10 emails, and of course, as many days, I got and email stating that they are going to have Amazon (that is who I bought the Photon from), apply a $15.00 credit to my account and send me a full vat..FEP rings and FEP included. I just felt I needed to give kudos where they are due. Yes, it took some time to get this done, but patience is a virtue. I have already received the parts..just 2 days after they said they were on their way.

What seems to be everyone's go to for clear resin? I'm looking right now at monocure rapid but was wondering if there are better ones out there

I’ve got a odd question perhaps. I have a blue cast model but I want to make it smoother. It’s quite a big model and just sanding it is not giving me the results I’m looking for. Primer might help but has anyone used primer on blu cast before? Does it have a weird effect on the wax?

I just completed the 200mm (HiWinn rail clones from Reliabot) conversion and this was my first print after bed level. Using Chitubox for slicing and 8xAA.

So detailed you can see the dot on top of the spire.

Hey thanks for adding me to the group. I have a few questions for the group. Any feedback would be appreciated.

First did Anycubic delete all their support? I tried to look to see if the issues I had were covered under the warranty and got a 404 page. I cant even find firmware on their site anymore.

The first photon I bought stopped working within a week with 5 complete prints. Returned and replaced placed the unit. My second one lasted 4 months. I would get error messages during prints then only half the lcd would display.

What is the normal lifespan of the lcd display? Are these issues with the lcd prevalent in the photon s? Is it worth to upgrade?
