Hi all, looking for some advice on these prints. I had printed the 2 minis together and thought everything was going as when i paused it, i could see the print (have had to many failures on 8hrs plus prints).

When the print was done i got a whole heap of messed up minis. I printed them at:
Thickness: .02. NET: 8. OT:1. BET: 90. BL:6
I used both light and heavy supports and manually placed them at a 30° angle on the X axis using Photon-S workshop basic slicer.
I also changed the contact depth,and radius on my supports.

I have included pics of the failed print and the position of the mini when opened.

OK getting Z wobbles. Regular banding in the z axis.

I'll try resetting the carriage bearings but has anyone tried a coupler between the lead screw and motor? Is there room?

The lead screw should be unconstrained in the x-y plane but it looks like the motor just has a rubber isolator. This is why loosening the motor screws can work.

Anyone any experience of customer support. Regarding no Z axis movement, they got back to me with a firmware option that didn't work within 24 hours. I tested the motor and it passed have replied sending a generated error file but now not heard anything in 5 days.

so while I am trying to get my photon back up and running correctly, I figured I would give a little more depth to my deadpool...

take into account that I suck at all things painting. i tried to do something interesting with it, before is on the right with just a basic grey primer, left is metallic aluminum colour with a black wash...

what y'all think?

so I am at a loss, since Sunday, i cannot get a good print. I have changed FEP (and got it the right way this time), I have re-leveled, using the original method and the Flint Read method and changed out the resin multiple times, and I still cannot get the base layer to adhere to the build plate. any ideas why its not working?

anything else I can check? this is just getting really frustrating and I can't think of what else to change...

Alright guys. For anyone who seen my rant about getting a bonk ass printer from Ebay (it was listed as new, it was used) it does work just fine. First test print was this ring. Came out great. Printing 2 items at the same time next. Hope all goes well!
