Sharing a mistake I made while rushing. I only put a single support on the bottom of this orc's shield so it moved around until it got to the arm which was much better supported. In this case, it fits right in on an orc. ;) This learn by example is brought to you by the letter O and the number 1.

Ok if a person (me) wanted to buy a resin printer at or under $600.00 what should I buy? I do not care the price as long as it fits in this budget. I am looking for the best printer that amount or less can buy.

Note: For what I am doing I need the most accurate and smooth print I can get. I have been looking at the Photon and Epax X1. I was looking at the Photon S but I think I have ruled it out.

What is my likely cause of failure here?

I printed successfully with the auto supports like this using Anycubic Clear Green and only 1 on the bed?

This time I used Anycubic Orange, with the settings as shown, 2 models loaded and auto supports again.

UK and Europe users, where are you buying your resins?

I can only find normal resins on ebay/amazon, but im interested in testing out some engineering resins. Like "durable" or "tough".

any ideas, maybe im searching the wrong term? Would really appreciate a few links for engineering resins.

Good morning, how’s everyone today? As some of y’all may recall I built a heater for my printer the other day, well I couldn’t get it to heat. After a bit of fiddling with it, and checking to make sure I had it wired correctly, I decided to look up the information for the thermostat since mine didn’t come with instructions. Once I read the instructions I realized that it was programmed to cool not heat and that I needed to change settings. Now it’s heating great and I’ll be able to print soon. Thought I’d share this link for anyone who has a similar issue.

Printed this canopy for my drone in Siriya Blue. I think its gonna work perfectly and be able to withstand a few crashes. Anyone else here print drone parts with the Photon?
