I have just got myself a 1lt Monocure rapid gray bottle. I had a look here but couldn't find any info. What I wanna ask is if anyone knows what exposure times would be best to use as a baseline for using this resin?

Well, my time has come. The fep tore mid print, so now I have dried resin on the screen. I tried going at it with ipa and the plastic spatula but no joy. I've had a look on previous posts but haven't found much. Any tips please?

My Photon will be here in a few days,

A) I've searched the Group looked up and been reading lots

B) I've Got multiple FDM printers and have an understanding this is gonna be a process to learn.

C) I've got couple questions that the answers are all over.

What IPA in the states do you guys use? Link plz

Do you recommend a bath in IPA in say a jar with a strainer, then move to a ultrasonic cleaner(link to preferred ones)? Non Heated! Compressed air sounds like a descent idea also to clean part between baths?

Thanks for those old pros that take time answer these for the millionth time, I've been there still am there in my printers owners groups. There are pages and pages of these questions but none actually link witch IPA you guys use or where to get it.

I tried to print 20mm testcube on my original anycubic photon today using monocure rapid (white) and the results came out terrible. Printed with heavy supports but the edges are all wonky and distorted with some broken supports on the edges of the cube. Parameters were 15 base layers at 200 secs and normal layer cure 12secs with offtime 6.5secs. The base however was still stuck onto build-platform after the print so that's not the issue (not levelling issue). Can someone please tell me why this happened and how to fix it?

This is getting silly now! I've changed the USB, not hollowed out any of the models, tensioned the FEP, relevelled the build plate and didn't use autosupports!

One model on the plate came out perfectly, the others all have these weird lines through at inconsistent intervals...

Any more ideas?

(I didn't save the project, so I don't have my settings, but its 0.04 layer height, 10 sec exposure with Anycubic Red)

New Photon owner here, thanks to a surprise lightning sale on Amazon.

Coming from FDM I'm really excited to print in super high resolution.

Here's to hoping it's as easy as I expect it to be. (Which is harder than FDM, but not rocket surgery.)

I do wonder if Photon printers are sold in sales waves at only certain times of the year? You may ask why am I asking this but this is due to the cycle of questions that seems to come up every few weeks relating to cloudy FEP, greasing the Z axis or why is my print failing whilst printing on the included memory stick etc. Guys do yourselves a big favour and search the group using the search box or go visit the wonderful Phonsters FAQ page before posting please. Asking us to help is fine but at least try to do some research yourself first :-)
