I think my new photon my have a problem...

I unpacked it last week and allready im out of resin....

Im starting to believe i should have started with more than 1,5 liters:P

Also.. my Photon infected all my previous prints (made with an old DaVinici machine) with "looks-like-shit"-disease.. So i cant print with the DaVinci machine anymore :(

On the bright side i might name my next child "Photon" :P

I did a little experiment and found out something. I had some resin on my nitrile glove. In a fit of pique I grabbed my UV flashlight and exposed it. The stuff is exothermic, it gets hot, in UV light.
Didn’t realize that.

Is there a colour/brand of resin that is not so brittle? Or is the only solution to add flex resin to the mix?

Is there any easy fix for this? My print won’t stick because layer 0 is empty, layer 1 is just a line and the print doesn’t rally begin until layer 2? I tried importing it to 3d builder, putting a cube under model, subtracting it to make sure bottom was flat then “settling” it... tried again and no luck :(

I recently switched over to monocure clear resin and woke up to a partially failed pint this morning. I went to replace the vat and it would appear that resin leaked from the battom of the vat onto the screen! Is there any easy way to clean this or am I going to have to replace the screen?

Some fairly recent prints. Diesel at 25um the rest at 50. I'm happy, you still get the odd line on large flat areas that seems unavoidable but as far as I know people are happy. I am.

im sure its personal preference but whats better between chitu slicer and chitubox? i am in that lucky group that can not get the photon slicer software to display my drawings. so a different slicer i will use ... im new to 3d printing and decided to jump straight into the DLP end of the pool head first. this group is incredible with the vast array of knowledge and eagerness to help. thanks in advance for the help and hopefully i dont ask too many rookie questions from the start
