Is purchasing the photon s really worth it over the standard photon? Both have the 2k screen, loss of 10mm z on the standard, but otherwise I'm not seeing a big difference.

Anything I print won't need to be at .01mm so the .025mm will be way more than enough.

Printers Bay has a sale for $375 today on the standard photon. Seems like a great deal.

Loving how the head/neck came out for this dragon. It's so hard to get decent looking teeth on an FDM printer. Does a great job printing the large pieces though!

Well, guess who's marking out ability when fixing linear rails is crap - I must be getting old and senile!!! ?

Thank God for Araldite Metal! Will attempt to glue the rails in place a little later and report back on success...

Hi all. Any advice as to why when I print something like a base flat on the bed it seems to print somewhat flatter on the top of the model vs if I print at an angle the height seems to be correct?

Perfect print but this fail part on the photon word. Nothing cured in the vat. Could it be a pen drive problem? I’m still using the drive that comes with the printer and I heard it is no good.
